Well, we’re at it again!
There’s a new line-up of four live, online class series for THE VOICE INCORPORATED 2024 and they’re going to be varied and interesting, for sure!

2024 CLASS SERIES LINE-UP
SERIES #1: March
THE BASICS FROM BEYOND
In this class we’ll take a look at the so-called “basics” of voice and voice production, but in a way that’s connected to the whole system from the beginning and far from rudimentary. There’s an advanced way to engage with the basics and it changes everything!
SERIES #2: May
EVOLUTION INSIDE I (FISH/REPTILE)
Basically, evolutionarily speaking, we are big old fish that squirmed out of the water, stood up and became, eventually, what we call human! But so much of that early evolutionary physiology is still here in our organs, our skeleton and our throats! Learning to go back to our fish-and-reptile-selves INSIDE is a revelation for singing! Come travel back into primordial time with me in the here and now!
SERIES #3: September
TRUE AND/OR FALSE
When I was performing regularly as a singer, I was a countertenor, a “falsettist,” and have, over the years developed a kind of specialty in falsetto singing – not only in itself, but as a means of exploring the entire voice. Regardless of gender, sex, voice type, etc. we all have a “falsetto” voice and, trust me, falsetto is a key to the whole voice! You’ll see.
SERIES #4: November
EVOLUTION INSIDE II (MAMMAL/PRIMATE)
In this class we continue the previous evolutionary explorations to include further physiological transformations – mammal and primate – on the way to our current human form. In the end we’ll see that we are ALL of it, now, and can move in and out of awareness and certain ways of being in our “evolutionary body” that integrate all of these concurrent options. You’ll find your inner singing fish (the basis of it all) amidst the rest… It’s so cool!

Together, these series:
- reveal a somatic logic that spans an enormous period of time – evolutionary time – which is a vast ocean of organismic learning intelligence that we have already been through that is still present and influencing our lives and voices today!
- assure us that the basics are not so basic and there’s a whole new way to be with them that honors the simplicity in the complexity and the complexity in the simplicity!
- show us that learning often happens in the most surprising ways, when we least expect it, and when we’re not trying to learn the thing we think we *should* learn, but are just learning to learn and letting the process take us for a ride without trying to control it or make it into something it’s not.
